In FY08 we built a team of volunteer Sustainability Ambassadors across Australia and New Zealand as a tangible way for our people to get involved in our sustainability initiatives. Our people are passionate about Lion Nathan and the work we do.
Our Sustainability Ambassador programme aims to harness this passion and provide an opportunity for the ideas of our people to be heard and actioned across the business.
Our Ambassadors have helped us to identify opportunities for change at the coalface, implement initiatives to support the achievement of our sustainability goals (e.g. reducing paper, water and electricity usage), identify ways to embed sustainability into our day-to-day practices, and, of course, they lead by example and champion the sustainability cause
