Our wineries actively promote a 'tread lightly' approach and have commited to a number of environmental projects, including several that contribute to habitat rehabilitation. Sustainable agricultural practices and responsible land management are a focus. In order to protect waterways and diversity of habitat, and avoid causing or contributing to land degradation, we undertake a number of initiatives including:

• Reusing valuable organic waste material
• Conserving soil
• Rehabilitating land
• Protecting water resources
• Planting and managing vineyards to protect against erosion and to guard against chemical overuse and runoff
• Minimising supplementary irrigation of vineyards by using alternatives to sprinkler or flood irrigation
