New Business Development - South Island, Lion Nathan New Zealand

I became a member of the Lion Nathan team almost 6 years ago, accepting the position of Territory Manager, Lion Nathan Wines & Spirits, based in Wellington back in July 2000.

My career has always been sales focused, having worked for various companies before joining Lion. I had always admired Lions impressive position in the market, riding on the back of it’s very powerful brand portfolio. Being a market leader was one of the key drivers that attracted me to work for Lion.

After spending three years in Wellington, my family and I wanted to return to our home town of Christchurch. Here I accepted the role of On Premise Specialist - Wines & Spirits, where I was responsible for promoting and securing our portfolio into the many and varied bars and restaurants in the city. Spending two and a half years in this role I enjoyed building relationships with many key and talented business people, that have a real passion and understanding of what they do.

Recently I was promoted to the position of New Business Development, responsible for signing new business across Lion’s multi beverage platform in the South Island.

Over the last six years Lion has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally. I have had the privilege to work with a great punch of people and have been given the chance to achieve under very talented leadership.

I have a great respect and passion for our brands and relish working within the culture that exists at Lion.
