Q. Can I post/fax you a copy of my CV/ Résumé?

A. We ask that you submit your CV/Resume via our web-based system so that we can quickly and accurately match your skills and experience to any suitable positions.

Q. Can I apply for more than one role?

A. Yes you can. Just use our search function and submit your CV/Resume and application for any suitable positions. You may also wish to set up a profile on our system so we can assist you in finding jobs that suit your skills, experience and interests.

Q. Can I obtain a job description?

A. At Lion Nathan we tend not to use job descriptions as we have accountabilities which will often be shared with you at your first interview. Accountabilities focus on both what you’re expected to achieve and how you’re expected to achieve them. If you have any concerns about the level of the position and you have been contacted to attend a first interview you might like to address those concerns during that telephone conversation.

Q. Where can I get help in putting together my application?

Q. Will I be able to change information on my profile once it is submitted?

A. You may access and correct any personal data by accessing your profile or application on the Careers Website.

Q. How can I find out the salary for the position I have applied for?

A. We often discuss salary expectations at the first interview. If you have any concerns please discuss with the hiring leader at that stage.

Q. What is the recruitment process?

Q. How long will the selection process take?

A. The length of the recruitment process depends on many different variables but at all stages we aim to keep you as informed as possible. We also recognise the time you have invested in our recruitment process so we endeavour to operate efficiently and effectively

Q. How will I know if I am to be interviewed?

A. We will communicate with you by telephone to organise a first interview. If we unable to contact you by this means we may try via email.

Q. How will I know if I am unsuccessful in moving forward to a first interview?

A. We will advise you via email if we decide not to progress with your application to a first interview.

Q. How formal is the interview?

A. We like to keep interviews as relaxed as possible but expect our questions to be challenging.

Q. How can I prepare for my interview?

Q. How can I remove my CV/Resume from the Lion Nathan database?

A. As part of creating a profile you are asked if you wish to be sent job alerts matching your profile – please unclick this if you no longer wish to be kept notified. If you wish to have your details permanently removed please request this by clicking here resourcing@lion-nathan.com.au.

Q. Who do I contact if I’m having problems using the system to apply for positions?

A. Refer to the help option on the page that you are on and depending on the problem contact the relevant support. If you are unsure who to contact please click here resourcing@lion-nathan.com.au.  

Q. What should I do if I have forgotten my password/user name?

A. If you have forgotten your password - enter your user name and click on forgot your password on the log in page, you will then be asked for your security question and answer. An email will be sent to you with instructions on how to set up a new password.

If you have forgotten your user name - click on forgot your user name on the log in page and it will request some basic personal details. It will then ask for your security question and answer. An email will be sent to you with instructions on how to retrieve your user name and change your password.


Q. Do you recruit people with disabilities?

A. Yes. Lion Nathan welcomes applications from anyone who meets our selection criteria.

Q. Do you accept CV/Résumé’s from employment agencies?

A. Lion Nathan does not accept CV/Résumé’s from headhunters or recruitment agencies that have not signed an appropriate agreement with us and who are invited to submit candidates via our web-based system.

Q. Are you running a Graduate programme in Australia?

A. Currently our Australian Graduate Programme is under review. In the meantime we do recommend that you
lodge your CV with us and create a profile so you can be kept informed of any suitable roles outside of the Graduate Programme
